Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business targets for the paint's raw materials and coatings division.
Maintain awareness of market trends, customer needs and competitor initiatives and devise strategies to optimally utilize market opportunities.
Use data and analytics to both formulate and measure the effectiveness of sales strategies.
Maintain close and good relationship with key customers and expand the business portfolio.
Drive market development activities to align with company business goals and ensure strategic alignment in sourcing, sales, and marketing strategies.
Recognize and develop strategies to pursue new market segments and opportunities for business development with realistic forecasts
Coordinate sales activities nationwide, while ensuring qualitative service delivery and compliance with standard policies and procedures.
Work closely with the Supply Chain and Production departments to ensure timely delivery of products to meet customer demands.
Provide nationwide technical support to customers on development of new paint/coating products
Continuously promote raw materials for paint production to current and potential customers
Provide leadership and guidance to team members and manage subordinates’ performance towards the achievement of overall team objectives.
Develop and deliver proposals, presentations, and sales bids to prospective customers
Prepare/compile agreed periodic activity and performance reports for the attention of the General Manager and Managing Director
Qualifications & Experience
B.Sc. or HND in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 5–7 years experience in technical sales within the paints and coatings industry.
Sound understanding of paint formulations, additives, resins, pigments, and solvents.
Proven record of achieving sales targets and managing key industrial accounts.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively.
