Unilag Microfinance Bank was duly registered in April 2020 with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) and was licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria to operate as a microfinance bank in February 2021. The Bank is a conception of the University of Lagos Management championed by the erudite Vice chancellor, Professor Oluwatoyin Ogundipe.
The focus of the Bank is to provide microfinance banking services to individuals and businesses within the University of Lagos environment as well as small and medium scale enterprises beyond. The bank is seeking a talented, creative and social media-savvy Individuals to join our growing team.
In this role, you will be responsible for creating contents, managing social media platforms and implementing campaign strategies that align with the bank’s strategic plan.
Responsibilities
Managing the bank’s social media platforms.
Identify target audiences and determine appropriate platforms & campaign strategies (Instagram, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, Facebook etc.) to engage them.
Create high quality graphics and visual content (images, videos, reels, infographics) to connect with the target audiences.
Write captions, posts, and social copy that reflect the brand voice and curate relevant content from external sources to share.
Set up and manage Ad-campaigns and promotional events.
Continuous collaboration with the marketing, product design, and customer support teams to streamline strategies and maximize market opportunities.
Coordinate influencer collaborations or brand partnerships.
Qualifications
1-3 years proven experience as a social media manager or in a similar role, with evidence of community growth and measurable impacts.
Proficient in Content creation, graphic design, writing and brand marketing
Proficient use of InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, or Motion for graphic design and video editing tools (mandatory).
Strong understanding of major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, YouTube, etc.).
