As the Senior Laboratory Technician, you will lead and execute advanced construction laboratory tests involving soil, asphalt, concrete, aggregates, and field assessments.
Responsibilities
Lead the preparation and execution of construction laboratory tests (soil, concrete, asphalt, aggregates, field tests).
Oversee secondary testing related to permeability, strength, and material acceptance.
Supervise proper recording, labelling, and documentation of samples and results.
Ensure strict adherence to construction standards and accreditation guidelines.
Maintain and oversee calibration, verification, and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
Compile and validate test data before submission or reporting.
Requirements
Degree or HND qualification in Civil Engineering, Civil Technology, or Geosciences.
Minimum 2 years of construction laboratory experience.
Must have strong hands-on experience with soil, asphalt, concrete, and field testing.
Must be proficient in using computers for data entry, report compilation, and equipment documentation.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in test execution and reporting.
Salary
N150,000 – N220,000 monthly.
