Haul247, an end-to-end logistics tech API platform that connects businesses to haulage and warehousing assets all in one ecosystem, was created to simplify logistics process by ensuring efficient asset utilization, transparency and safety in the movement and storage of goods.The Role

The Senior Finance Analyst will support the Financial Controller in driving operational finance excellence, ensuring compliance with tax and statutory obligations, and delivering accurate and timely reporting. The role is hands-on, with a focus on financial operations, tax compliance, and management reporting.

What you will do

Manage day-to-day financial operations, including payables, receivables and reconciliations.
Prepare monthly management and financial reports, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business needs.
Conduct variance analysis and highlight key drivers of performance for management review.
Oversee tax compliance processes (PAYE, VAT, WHT, CIT, NSITF, Pension, etc.), ensuring timely filings and remittances.
Maintain up-to-date schedules for all balance sheet accounts to support reporting and audit readiness.
Assist in developing and maintaining financial models and drive compliance with internal control.
Handle ad-hoc analysis and special projects assigned.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
Professional qualification completed or in progress (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) is an advantage.
3–5 years of progressive experience in the finance function.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and accounting systems (QuickBooks, etc.).
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently while managing and mentoring junior analysts.
