Federal College of Education Technical, Ekiadolor is government owned College of Education located in Edo State, Southern part of Nigeria. The College was one of the government approved tertiary institutions in Nigeria by the Administration of President Buhari in 2019. The institution served as a Centre for training of School Teachers in Nigeria. The College of Education awards National Certificates in Education (NCE) to its graduates as it is a mandatory requirement for those who want to work as a teacher in a Nigerian school.Requirements
Candidates must possess a Doctorate Degree in relevant fields) from a recognized university with at least nine (9) years of beaching/research in higher institution and possess at least 12 scholarly publications and must have attended conferences and should have the following:
Registration with TRCN, and demonstrate good knowledge of computer literacy
Demonstrate ability to offer academic/administrative leadership
Demonstrable ability to initiate and supervise applied research/project/exhibition
Three (3) other papers read at national/international conference/seminars
Not less than four (4) meaningful chapter contribution in standard textbook(s) or
One standard textbook
Four (4) additional papers published or accepted for publication in reputable journals since last promotion
Successful external assessment
Evidence of community service.
In addition to the above, candidate should have either:
Published 13 papers in reputable academic journals, or
Published 11 papers in reputable academic journal plus two (2) chapters in standard textbooks, or five (5) major exhibitions, or a unique invention or innovation in field of specialization, and
Evidence of community service
Successful external assessment
Registered with recognized professional body (STAN)
Must be computer literate.
