Monitor breeder flocks daily to ensure bird health, welfare, and production performance.
Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot farm equipment (feeders, drinkers, ventilation, lighting, and egg collection systems).
Perform routine electrical and mechanical maintenance on automated poultry housing and control systems.
Assist with egg collection, handling, and quality checks.
Prior work with major poultry producers (e.g., Zartech, Amo, Chi Farms, Olam, or international equivalents)
Maintain accurate flock records, including egg production, mortality, and feed consumption.
Support vaccination, biosecurity, and flock health programs under farm management direction.
Ensure compliance with animal welfare, health, and safety standards.
Collaborate with the farm manager on continuous improvement and preventative maintenance schedules.
Requirements
Degree or Diploma in Agriculture, Animal Science, or related technical field (Mechanical/Electrical). Relevant hands-on experience in poultry farm operations may substitute for formal education.
Minimum 2 – 3 years of experience in poultry breeder operations (preferred) or commercial poultry farming.
Strong hands-on mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
Experience with automated poultry housing systems is highly desired.
Ability to work with modern farm control systems (ventilation, feeding, and climate control).
Attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and proactive work ethic.
Willingness to work flexible hours and live near the farm site if required.
