As a Panel Beater, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles and trucks to their original condition while ensuring high-quality workmanship throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities
Inspect vehicles and trucks for damage and determine the necessary repairs.
Remove damaged panels and components using appropriate tools and equipment.
Repair or replace damaged body panels, ensuring proper alignment, fit, and finish.
Apply body filler and sand surfaces to prepare them for painting and restore the vehicle’s appearance.
Collaborate with other team members, including spray painters and mechanics, to deliver high-quality, timely repairs.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Comply with all health and safety regulations and workshop procedures during repair processes.
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Panel Beater in an automotive repair environment.
Proficiency in using various tools and equipment related to bodywork repairs.
Strong knowledge of automotive bodywork techniques and materials.
Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality workmanship.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a positive attitude.
Good communication skills to interact with team members.
