She Code Africa is a registered non-profit organisation empowering girls and women across Africa with technical and soft skills needed to match or scale their careers in STEM With a mission to bring in more girls and women in Africa into technology through our offline hands-on-training and events focused on all aspects of technology while also giving a platform and voice to existing members helping them grow technically.Role Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Associate II to support the smooth functioning of our daily operations. This role will be primarily based in Lagos, Nigeria but remote and will be responsible for overseeing office management, coordinating with cross-functional teams, ensuring compliance with internal policies, and driving efficiency across organizational processes.

Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily operational activities and ensure efficiency.
Assist in the development of internal policies and guidelines.
Ensure proper compliance with operational policies.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams for improved efficiency.
Independently manages day-to-day office operations.
Coordinates and executes events and logistics.
Provides support to HR functions, including recruitment and onboarding.
May be responsible for office management and maintenance.
May assist with the development and implementation of internal operational policies and procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Minimum of 2–3 years of relevant experience in operations, office management, or administrative support, ideally in a nonprofit or social impact setting.
Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Experience supporting HR functions, such as recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement.
Familiarity with office management processes, event coordination, and vendor management.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills; confidence in working across teams and functions.
Knowledge of compliance, policy implementation, or operational best practices is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Slack, or similar).
High level of initiative, resourcefulness, and ability to work independently.
