We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical equipment and systems, with a strong focus on gas gensets.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on mechanical equipment and systems.
Install, assemble, and test mechanical machinery and components.
Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
Diagnose mechanical faults, suggest solutions, and implement corrective actions.
Carry out maintenance and repair of Jenbacher Gas Gensets (highly preferred).
Collaborate with the engineering team to support process improvements.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and prepare service reports.
Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Candidate Profile
OND/HND or vocational training in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
2–4 years of proven experience as a Mechanical Technician in manufacturing, production, or power generation.
Hands-on experience with Jenbacher Gas Gensets (highly preferable).
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulic and pneumatic components.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, drawings, and schematics.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Knowledge of safety standards and compliance practices.
Ability to work under pressure and deliver results.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: N170,000 – N200,000 per month (based on experience).
