Manages all aspects of non-commodity procurement, from sourcing to delivery. This includes:
Supplier Management: Evaluating and selecting suppliers based on quality, cost, and capability.
Strategic Sourcing: Developing sourcing strategies, negotiating contracts, and identifying alternative sources to achieve productivity gains and cost savings.
Operational Oversight: Overseeing contract implementation, resolving operational issues, and managing budgets and forecasts.
Compliance: Ensuring all procurement policies and import/export regulations are followed.
Strategic Effectiveness
Contribute to the design and implementation of the procurement process road map, as well as managing the procurement and supply chain strategy for the product(s), within the country
Will demonstrate sound judgement within defined practices and policies and select techniques for obtaining solutions that will contribute to future results and successes
Strong financial acumen, ability to read and comprehend tasks such as counterparty and credit risk management
You will be responsible for the optimal utilization of country resources
Support implementation of required infrastructure as per the business plan and derive maximum capacity efficiencies by eliminating controllable losses
Manage the primary/secondary procurement
Ability to build teams – hiring, training, and developing team members
Collaborate with key stake holders involving formal business reviews and ongoing continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
Engineering Degree is required.
Master’s or MBA degree in fields such as business administration, finance, is preferred.
Strong preference for CIPS or similar professional qualification.
Should have passed engineering +MBA preferred from a good institute and have 5-7 years’ experience in handling end to end procurement in a mass manufacturing company.
Good Hands-on Contract Management.
Experience in DIRECT Procurement of General and consumable Items. (MRO Items), AGO, packaging material and asset purchases.
Spend analysis.
High competency level in SAP MM, SAP Ariba.
Well Versed with process of EXIM Certification & documentation process.
