The University of Ilorin, also known as Unilorin, is a university in Ilorin, Nigeria.
It was established by a decree of the Federal Military Government in 1975 and is a federal government owned tertiary institution of education located in Ilorin, Kwara State, western Nigeria.[1][2] The ancient city of Ilorin, capital of Kwara State, is about 300 km from Lagos and 500 km from Abuja, the country’s administrative capital. Candidate must possess SSCE / GCE (O/L) or its equivalent with 5 credits in the relevant subjects inclusive of English Language and Mathematics with a good University Degree in Law (LL.B) (Hons.);
Call to the Nigerian Bar, B.L. and evidence of NYSC certificate and be computer literate. LL.M (Masters in Law) is an advantage post qualification experience at the Bar. LLM (Master's in Law) is an advantage.

Appointment is normally on probation, which may be confirmed after two years of satisfactory service.
The post is pensionable.
