ARNERGY is a distributed utility technology company that leverage Internet of Things (IoT) to deploy affordable, reliable distributed solar energy solutions to rural and urban consumers and SMEs across Nigeria on a monthly subscription model.
We custom design solar energy systems for commercial and residential clients using tried and tested, intelligent solar energy system ensuring Africans have 24/7 power in their homes while reducing operating expenses of African businesses saving them huge costs otherwise spent on diesel/petrol generator maintenance and increased revenue otherwise lost to cut in production.Job Summary
As our Lead Solution Architect, you will be responsible for preparing winning engineering designs and proposals that provide solar solutions that meet both clients’ needs and industry standards and benchmarks.
You will play a pivotal role in expanding our power solution business, positioning Arnergy as the leading brand in the industry.
Responsibilities
You will:
Prepare technical proposals using the appropriate tools to determine the best configuration, material and technologies for optimal performance.
Support the development of commercial proposals by providing material and quantity related information to the commercial and finance teams for price modeling.
Develop electrical Single-Line-Diagrams and 3D visualization to aid initial system architecture and project cost budgeting.
Perform site assessment/energy audit to capture customer load profile, energy needs, location preferences, potential threats and available infrastructure required for an optimal design.
Develop and manage a database of site assessments and proposals as a corporate asset for decision making.
Contribute to project implementation plans and support during project execution.
Perform savings and cost-benefit analysis from available data and designing metrics to determine energy and cost savings.
Work with operations to define and support the requirements for successful project commissioning and acceptance.
Support the sales team with technical pre-sales activities.
Support the commercial team with response to technical questions on RFP
Requirements and Skills
You’ll be a good fit for this role if:
You have a (First degree/MSc background in computer/electrical/mechanical engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience. You are an engineer at heart and in practice. (2.1- or First-class graduates only)
You understand business development, solution design, project management processes, strategies and methods.
You have at least 5 years’ experience with solar inverters, charge controllers, battery storage, and energy management systems.
You have a strong understanding of solar PV technology, electrical standards, and solar solution dimensioning
You are proficient in conducting energy audits and site assessments
You are proficient in using solar solutions design software – Helioscope, PVsyst.
You pay attention to detail.
