The Knowledge and Communications Expert will play a pivotal role in advancing learning, knowledge management, and strategic communications within IPO activities. This position requires a dynamic professional with deep expertise in evaluation, capacity building, and stakeholder engagement, particularly within the Nigerian context. This role will foster cross-country collaboration, ensure consistency in learning approaches, and elevate the visibility and impact of IPO initiatives.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DELIBERABLES
Learning & Knowledge Management Lead and support learning initiatives and knowledge-sharing activities across IPOS
Develop and disseminate learning products, tools, and mechanisms to enhance program effectiveness
Promote Nigeria’s experiences and lessons learned as a model for other IPOS
Reporting & Communications
Contribute to high-quality reporting and strategic communications for IPO activities
Capacity Building & Technical Support
Design and deliver capacity-building programs for IPO teams and young evaluators
Provide technical assistance to strengthen evaluation practices and learning systems
Collaborate with Ipsos’ counterparts to harmonize approaches across countries
Accountability & Impact
Strengthened IPO processes and institutional capacity in Nigeria
High levels of partner satisfaction with technical support and learning initiatives
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Development Studies, Communications, Evaluation, Social Sciences)
7-10 years of experience in evaluation, learning and knowledge management
SKILLS & COMPETENCE
Proven experience in capacity building, collaborative working and technical assistance
Deep understanding of Nigeria’s evaluation and learning landscape
