Manage and supervise all food production processes at the central kitchen, ensuring timely and consistent preparation of meals for various outlets and canteens.
Plan and coordinate daily production schedules based on customer demand and orders from different outlets. Ensure that food production meets quality standards while maintaining cost-effectiveness.
Monitor inventory levels, track food supplies, and ensure that raw ingredients and packaging materials are consistently available. Manage procurement to meet production needs while minimizing waste.
Ensure that all food items produced meet the company’s standards for quality, taste, presentation, and food safety. Implement quality control measures at every stage of production.
Coordinate the timely delivery of prepared food to various outlets and canteens. Ensure that food orders are packaged properly and dispatched on time to meet customer expectations.
Work closely with the sales and operations teams to forecast production volumes based on upcoming demands. Report on production performance, inventory usage, and waste management regularly.
Ensure that all kitchen equipment is in good working condition and that routine maintenance is performed to prevent disruptions in food production. Oversee the maintenance of kitchen facilities and storage areas.
Develop and implement strategies to reduce food waste, optimize ingredient usage, and promote sustainability in food production. Track and report on sustainability initiatives and their impact.
Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality ingredients and materials. Negotiate contracts and pricing to ensure cost-effective purchasing.
Address operational challenges, resolve production delays, and ensure that kitchen operations run smoothly. Troubleshoot issues related to food quality, staffing, or equipment.
