Description

  • Display and communicate targets and objectives.
  • Responsible for the quality of all incoming parts.
  • Manage Vehicle auditor and the Receiving inspection consultant/ employee.
  • Responsible for quality of vehicles that are released.
  • Red table (excess/ return) investigations.
  • Recognition of non-conformances and manage the implementation of countermeasures.
  • Ensure that the Rectification is corrected, and that all personnel are notified timeously.
  • Development and implementation of quality management systems.
  • Development and implementation of Environment Management Systems.
  • Ensuring that safe work practices are followed, and that Health and Safety improvement measures are implemented.
  • Responsible for ISO Audits.
  • Ensure that SHEQ reports are prepared and distributed for action and information.
  • Recognition and reporting of SHEQ issues to the EXCO MBM Production.
  • Ensure that the Rectification (Warranty) is correct, and that all personnel are notified timeously.
  • Product, MNPS and SHE audits results on a monthly basis.
  • Responsible for site security.
  • Manage time and attendance of staff members – plan absentee cover and manpower control.
  • Oversee the reject/ excess parts assessments.

Requirements
Qualifications:

  • Grade: 12 Matric Certificate
  • Relevant tertiary qualification, technical qualification or a comparable qualification

Experience:

  • Experience in a Managerial role – 8 years
  • Experience in quality management systems for example ISO9001, ISO14001, OHS18001 -5 years
  • Experience on MAN or other similar products -5 years
  • Experience in technical drawing and interpretation – 1 year
  • Knowledge of OHS ACT with suitable training for example SAMTRAC – 1 year
  • Knowledge of the road traffic ordinance and vehicle homologation – 1 year
