PROJECT SPECIALIST – Orthotics Implementation Team Travel Required up to 75% of the time
A Project Specialist works in conjunction with the team and IT leadership to analyze data and trends to determine root cause of process failures and areas of opportunities to increase efficiency. Additionally, a Project Specialist is responsible for assisting with the implementation of IT projects, which includes collaborating with team members in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of IT projects. Develops measurable project goals and objectives, while monitoring progress toward achievement. Responsible for project planning, monitoring project progression and meeting goals as defined by leadership.
Job Duties:
- Identifies areas of process improvement opportunities.
- Works collaboratively with the IT leadership to maximize productivity and profitability.
- Collaborates with IT leadership to identify areas of opportunity and growth for AdaptHealth, as well as improve technological processes to support this growth.
- Works to improve overall technology efficiency for better service to customers, employees, and other stakeholders.
- Conducts training needs assessments and identifies skills or knowledge gaps that need to be addressed.
- Collaborates with project teams, contributing to the entire project lifecycle.
- Organizes and monitors schedules to ensure deadlines are met.
- Coordinates efforts within the team and with any outside consultants.
- Monitors project progress toward achieving goals and objectives and documents key decisions.
- Analyzes processes targeted by senior management and identifies opportunities for improvement.
- Coordinate and support process improvements and enhancement requests
- Analysis of large amounts of data to identify trends, develop reports and communication plan to clearly communicate results to leadership as needed.
- Creates project management calendars for tracking and monitoring goals and objectives.
- Maintaining and monitoring project plans, documenting and following up on actions and decisions.
- Preparing project materials as needed and providing administrative support as needed.
- Developing strategies to ensure an effective and efficient execution of projects.
- Assess project risks and issues and provides solutions where applicable.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Job Qualifications:
- Associate degree from an accredited college is required, Bachelor’s degree in preferred
- Two (2) years work-related experience in information technology or project management required.
