Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
Monitor and maintain the company’s IT infrastructure to ensure optimal performance.
Provide first-line technical support to staff, troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
Manage user accounts, access rights, and permissions across systems.
Ensure security of data, network access, and backup systems.
Support in the implementation of new technology solutions and upgrades.
Maintain IT asset inventory and ensure proper documentation of IT processes.
Liaise with external vendors and service providers for system repairs, upgrades, or IT-related procurement.
Train and guide employees on IT tools, applications, and security best practices.
Ensure compliance with IT policies, procedures, and data protection regulations.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as an IT Officer, IT Support, or similar role.
Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, hardware, and software.
Familiarity with database management, cloud solutions, and cybersecurity practices.
Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills (Added Advantage):
Certifications such as CompTIA, CCNA, Microsoft, or ITIL.
Experience with ERP systems, cloud services (e.g., Microsoft 365, Google Workspace), or database administration.
