Information Security Liaison at KPMG

The Information Security Liaison will be responsible for the following tasks,

Act as a contact point between the local stakeholder (for example the ITS and local Business Units) in West Africa and the Africa Information Protection Team
Manage and conduct Information Security Risk Assessments
Assist with internal and external audits and compliance reviews
Assist with the management of audit remediation action plans
Assist with the completion and co-ordination of client information security questionnaires
Assist with the review of information security clauses of client and third-party service provider contracts
Assist with the implementation and communication of applicable new and updated policy, standards, and procedures
Assist with Information Security Incident Response activities
Assist with the implementation of information security related projects and initiatives
Act as escalation point for local information security incidents, issues and challenges.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills:

Minimum of Second Class (Upper) division in, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cyber Security or related discipline from a reputable university.
Minimum of five O’Level credits in one sitting, including English Language and Mathematics.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in information security principles and best practices threat landscape and generally accepted good security practice and standards.
Strong project management skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders.
Ability to work on your own and as part of a team.
Attention to detail and high level of professionalism.
Strong skills on Microsoft Office especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Practical work experience in Information Security team, including security incident response, threat analytics, security operations, and security risk management.
