We are seeking a proactive and people-oriented HR Officer to support HR operations including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance. The ideal candidate will be passionate about people, organizational development, and fostering a positive workplace culture in a fast-paced, service-driven environment

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate end-to-end recruitment processes (job posting, screening, interviewing, hiring).
Identify hiring needs and staffing gaps.
Conduct onboarding sessions and ensure smooth integration of new hires
Serve as a point of contact for staff on HR policies, procedures, and general queries.
Support initiatives to boost employee engagement and satisfaction.
Mediate and help resolve workplace issues and grievances professionally.
Assist in the implementation and monitoring of the performance appraisal process.
Identify training needs and help coordinate training and development programs.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records both electronically and physically.
Prepare HR reports (attendance, leave, headcount, etc.) for management review.
Ensure timely documentation of HR actions such as promotions, transfers, and terminations.
Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies.
Support audits and assist in developing or updating HR policies and handbooks.
Monitor staff attendance, leave, and disciplinary issues in line with company standards.

Requirements:

Minimum of an HND/BSc. in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
2–3 years generalist HR experience (Experience in the hospitality sector is necessary)
Solid understanding of HR functions and Nigerian labor laws.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
High level of discretion, ethics, and professionalism.
Proficiency in MS Office and HR software
Membership or certification from a recognized HR body (e.g., CIPM, SHRM) is an advantage.
Candidates should stay in or around the location.
