The job includes cleaning and sanitizing guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas, replenishing linens, towels, and amenities, reporting maintenance and safety issues, maintaining cleaning supplies and carts, and providing excellent customer service to guests.
Key responsibilities also involve adhering to hygiene and safety standards, collaborating with other hotel staff, and managing guest requests in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Cleaning and Sanitation: Perform general cleaning, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and polishing, in guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas to meet high cleanliness standards.
Guest Room Servicing: Make beds, change linens and towels, and replenish toiletries, coffee, and other guest amenities.
Inventory Management: Maintain and restock cleaning supplies and amenities on the housekeeping cart and in floor closets.
Reporting: Report any missing or damaged items, maintenance issues, or safety hazards to the Housekeeping Supervisor or management.
Customer Service: Respond to guest requests for extra supplies or assistance promptly and professionally.
Safety and Security: Comply with hotel health, safety, and security regulations, and follow lost and found procedures.
Team Collaboration: Work effectively with other hotel staff, including the front desk and maintenance teams.
Equipment and Supplies: Use and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are clean and stored correctly at the end of a shift.
Requirements
Candidates should possess relevant qualifications with 2 years experience.
