We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Professional to lead and manage all HSE functions across our organization.
The ideal candidate will drive the development and implementation of strategic safety systems, ensure full regulatory compliance, and maintain the company’s HSE Management System.
Position Overview/Responsibilities
Develop and conduct regular HSE training programs and orientation sessions on safety laws, hazard control, and the proper use of safety equipment.
Investigate and document construction incidents, including accidents, near-misses, and occupational injuries; identify root causes and implement preventive measures.
Conduct safety audits and site inspections of equipment, tools, and worksites to ensure compliance with internal and external safety standards. Correct potential hazards.
Monitor worksites and company facilities to ensure compliance with company HSE policies and government regulations.
Recommend corrective actions and oversee the implementation of quick-response systems for on-site/off-site incidents.
Develop and implement project-specific HSE procedures and risk assessments
Ensure compliance with ISO 45001:2018 and ISO 14001:2015 standards across all project sites.
Maintain proper safety documentation and regularly update the HSE Management System.
Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or any relevant HSE discipline.
HSE certifications such as NEBOSH or equivalent (mandatory)
In-depth knowledge of ISO 45001:2018 and ISO 14001:2015 standards.
Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in HSE roles, preferably within the construction industry.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Strong interpersonal skills for engaging with management and cross-functional teams.
Proficient in MS Office and engineering software.
