The Front Desk Officer is the first point of contact for members, visitors, and partners at Mitera Health HMO.
This role is crucial for creating a positive and welcoming environment, efficiently managing inquiries, and providing administrative support.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, possesses excellent communication skills, and is dedicated to delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
Warmly greet and welcome all members, visitors, and vendors, providing assistance and directing them appropriately.
Manage incoming calls, directing them to the relevant departments or personnel.
Schedule appointments and meetings for various departments, ensuring efficient t ime management.
Maintain a tidy, organized, and professional reception area.
Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including mail, packages, and deliveries.
Process basic member inquiries regarding services, appointments, or general information, escalating complex issues to appropriate teams.
Maintain accurate visitor logs and ensure security protocols are followed.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's Degree or HND in Business Administration, Office Management, or a related field.
Proven experience (1-3 years) in a front desk, reception, or administrative support role, preferably within a healthcare or HMO setting.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with a keen eye for detail.
Professional demeanor and appearance.
Ability to handle difficult situations with tact and empathy. • Knowledge of basic office procedures and equipment
