Leveraging more than a decade of experience, the company was formed by the divestment of the telecommunications services division of Telnet Nigeria Limited and has been in operation for many years. ipNX currently provides a range of communications and IT services to Corporate organizations within Nigeria on its IP (Internet Protocol) based communications network using both radio and satellite communications technologies. As part of its growth strategy, ipNX seeks to also extend its services to small and medium sized businesses and residential customers. In the long term, ipNX has determined that it needs also to have a strategic presence in the wire line market to ensure that we will be able to provide future services, which require high bandwidth in the last mile.
We are looking for a detail-oriented and results-driven Financial Account Officer to support our Retail & Enterprise Revenue Accounting function.
This role is ideal for a chartered accountant with hands-on experience in revenue posting, reconciliation, and financial reporting, who enjoys working with numbers, systems, and controls to ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial data.
Key responsibilities include:
Daily posting, amortization, and reconciliation of billing transactions
Revenue recognition, accruals, and suspense account management
Monthly revenue trend analysis and financial reporting
Support for audits and internal control improvements
Ensuring accuracy of invoices, credit notes, subscriptions, and bank reconciliations
Must Have Requirements:
B.Sc / HND (minimum 2.1 / Upper Credit) in Accounting or related field
Chartered Accountant (ICAN/ACA/ACCA)
Minimum 2 years’ experience in accounting or revenue-related roles
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, AR, and debit/credit
Proficiency in Excel and comfort working with accounting systems
