Manage day-to-day operations of the fashion production unit (bespoke & RTW).
Ensure garments are produced to the highest quality standards while meeting strict timelines.
Oversee staff scheduling, task allocation, and performance management of tailors, cutters, designers, and support staff.
Collaborate with the design team to align production with creative direction and client expectations.
Monitor inventory of fabrics, trims, and accessories, ensuring cost-effective procurement and usage.
Implement effective workflow systems that improve speed, reduce errors, and optimize output.
Liaise with management on expansion projects across African markets and ensure smooth execution of cross-border operations.
Prepare operational and production reports for management decision-making.
Uphold brand values by ensuring discretion, professionalism, and premium service standards in all operations.
Requirements
Academic qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Production Management, Fashion, or related field.
Professional experience: experience: Minimum of 5 years experience in factory, fashion production, or general operations management, preferably in the apparel industry.
Must be a resident in Abuja.
Core competencies:
Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to manage both skilled and semi-skilled staff.
Excellent understanding of garment production processes (pattern-making, cutting, tailoring, finishing, quality control).
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills; ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Tech-savvy with working knowledge of MS Office; familiarity with fashion ERP or production software is an advantage.
High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion, especially when dealing with high-profile clientele.
