We are seeking an experienced Factory Accountant / Senior Financial Analyst to join our food processing plant team in Calabar.
The ideal candidate will have a solid background in FMCG manufacturing, cost accounting, and distributor management. T
his role requires strong financial acumen to support efficient factory operations, optimize costs, and ensure financial compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive financial plans, budgets, and forecasts for the factory.
Monitor and optimize inventory levels to ensure efficient production and minimize waste.
Oversee factory funds management including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash flow.
Establish and maintain robust financial controls to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Identify and mitigate financial risks by implementing effective risk management strategies.
Ensure adherence to financial regulations, tax laws, and industry standards.
Analyze financial data to provide actionable insights and recommendations to management.
Perform product costing and monitor profitability to support business objectives.
Control operating expenses, ensuring cost efficiency without compromising quality.
Collaborate with distributors to optimize sales and revenue growth.
Prepare and submit detailed financial reports, including periodic updates on factory performance.
Lead budget preparation and ongoing financial planning activities.
Requirements
Extensive experience in FMCG manufacturing and distributor management.
Strong expertise in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
Proven skills in inventory management and cost control.
Hands-on experience with fund management and financial reporting.
Deep understanding of financial controls, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
