Engineering Team Lead (Core)

You’ll be part of the technical team, which is responsible for the infrastructure, scalability, and reliability of our platform. This team ensures our technology is robust, secure, and innovative, allowing us to deliver a seamless experience to our customers.
What You Will Do
– Take ownership of the team’s mission and lead a globally distributed team as a hands-on “playing coach.”
– Guide the development and scaling of backend transaction processing, client onboarding tools, and third-party service integrations.
– Ensure high-quality delivery across Python (Backend), React (Frontend), and QA engineers while actively contributing to architecture and code.
– Make fast, sound technical decisions rooted in product understanding and engineering expertise.
– Foster a team culture focused on delivering the industry’s best engineering solutions.
What We Expect
– 5+ years of software development experience in companies with a strong engineering culture.
– 1+ years of proven experience in leading or mentoring cross-functional teams.
– Hands-on experience with technologies we use: Python (Django/FastAPI), Pydantic, React/TypeScript, PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, Redis, Kafka.
– Familiarity with Kubernetes, GitLab CI, Prometheus, ELK, Grafana, and event-driven architecture.
– Strong problem-solving and communication skills with a proactive mindset and a passion for learning.
– Experience with mobile app purchases, payments, or analytics is a strong plus.
