About the Role

We are looking to recruit an experienced engineers that will be responsible for establishing and meeting projects schedules, managing project cost; directing and coordinating the entire engineering team successfully thus keeping management informed at all times on all issues relating to areas of responsibility while receiving administrative and operational direction from the General Manager.

Expected Deliverables

Managing Engineering Projects: preparation, execution, and adherence to client design.
Managing Engineering team effectively, responsible for team’s career development.
Engage in design, presentation, and cost estimation of all projects.
Sound understanding of the Company’s water and wastewater solutions.
Assist sales team in technical presentations.
Perform preliminary engineering design and analysis and / or review the design and drafting work of junior engineers.
Monitor the progress of design and construction delivery, identify areas for improvement, and take action to resolve outstanding issue.
Works with external contractors to meet client needs, project schedules, goals, and deadline.
Prepare weekly reports on unit activities and situations.
Ensure that all project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.
Implement and maintain quality assurance processes throughout the project lifecycle.
Conduct regular project reviews and audits to ensure compliance with standards and best practices.
Monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle.
Perform all other tasks related to the role.

Job Requirements

Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related Engineering field.
5+ years engineering experience with at least 2years as a team lead.
Ability to Use AutoCAD and other engineering applications will be an added advantage.
Supports business development activities from identification of opportunities to preparing proposals and making presentations to clients.
Proven technical writing and communication skills.
Entrepreneurial outlook – keen interest to play a pivotal role in growing the business of the company.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to supervise project sites and manage team members.
