We are seeking a Data Entry Officer to input, update, and maintain data in our systems. The ideal candidate will have fast typing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with minimal errors.
Your primary responsibility will be to ensure data accuracy and efficient handling of data input tasks.

Responsibilities

Enter, update, and maintain data in databases, spreadsheets, or software systems.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of data by cross-checking against original documents.
Organize, classify, and label electronic documents and items.
Review data for deficiencies, errors, or discrepancies.
Correct data errors or report them to supervisors for resolution.
Conduct regular audits to verify data integrity.
Generate reports based on entered data, including summaries and detailed views for supervisors or management.
Assist with data analysis by providing accurate data as required for decision-making.
Ensure timely completion of data entry tasks and meet deadlines.
Adhere to data confidentiality and organizational policies regarding data security.
Follow company procedures to maintain a high level of data protection.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or related field; additional certifications in data management with 0-2 years experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and data entry software.
Fast and accurate typing skills (Speed and accuracy may be tested during the hiring process).
Familiarity with database management systems (DBMS) is a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with end-users at all levels of the organization.
Ability to prioritize tasks effectively, work independently, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
