Business Devlopment Officer at Flowitec Group Ltd
Flowitec Group is a leading provider of high-quality industrial products, technical services and innovative solutions to industries in West Africa. Flowitec also operates as a mechanical engineering consultancy firm in West Africa. Over the years, it has grown steadily to become a top supplier of industrial and domestic pumps, valves, firefighting equipment and services to the mining, construction, industrial, power, water sectors in West Africa.The business development officer is responsible for identifying, developing, expanding the reach of the company's presence and products to key industries and closing new business opportunities for flowitec. S/he will build, open accounts and maintain relationships with viable clients across industries and will develop and execute strategies to increase revenue and market share.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategy aligned with the compnay's overall strategic goals and objectives.
Ensure the company is registered as a vendor in the client's data base for enquiry generation.
Expand the reach of the company's presence and products to clients across various viable industries.
Lead the development of compelling proposals and presentations that showcase the Company's expertise and value proposition.
Collaborate with sales engineers and other departments to develop technically sound and competitive proposals, negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to secure new business.
Qualifications:
Degree is Marketing or related field.
Minimum of 3 years' work experience in similar or related field.
Strong understanding of technical products among others.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle and interpret RFQs, technical enquiries and requests.
