At Fine and Country International (West Africa) he was the Head of Operations and Strategy. For the years spent at Fine and Country, he developed; Sales, Marketing, HR Structures and Policies, Business model and Operational Processes. The Branch Manager (retail) is responsible for overseeing the overall performance and operations of the branch, ensuring profitability, operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
This role involves leading and motivating staff, managing resources, driving business growth, and maintaining strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Business Growth & Revenue:
Develop and implement branch sales and business development strategies.
Identify new business opportunities to expand the customer base.
Operations Management:
Oversee daily branch operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to policies.
Monitor financial performance, budgets, and cost controls.
Ensure accurate and timely reporting of branch performance.
Customer Service:
Promote a customer-centric culture within the branch.
Handle escalated customer issues and ensure quick resolution.
Maintain strong relationships with key clients.
Team Leadership:
Develop branch staff.
Set clear performance goals and conduct regular appraisals.
Foster teamwork, motivation, and continuous learning.
Compliance & Risk Management:
Ensure branch operations comply with company policies and industry regulations.
Monitor risk exposure and implement controls to safeguard assets.
Ensure timely audits and proper documentation.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Management, or related field (Master’s degree is an advantage).
Minimum of 6–8 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
Proven track record in business development, operations management, and people leadership.
Strong financial acumen and ability to analyze performance data.
