We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Architect to join our bespoke furniture and joinery company.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing custom interior layouts, producing technical drawings for manufacturing, and collaborating with clients and production teams to deliver high-end, made-to-measure furniture solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design bespoke kitchens, wardrobes, cabinetry, and interior layouts based on client requirements.
Prepare detailed architectural and technical drawings for manufacturing and installation.
Work with materials such as MDF, MFC, solid wood, veneer, quartz, glass, and metal finishes.
Carry out site visits to take accurate measurements and assess design feasibility.
Develop 2D and 3D visualisations/renders for client presentations.
Liaise with clients to refine design concepts and discuss layout, style, and functionality.
Collaborate with carpenters, project managers, and installers to ensure accuracy and quality.
Ensure all designs comply with building regulations and safety standards.
Make revisions based on feedback from clients, production, or installation teams.
Assist with space planning, joinery detailing, lighting integration, and storage solutions.
Oversee design development from concept to completion.
Provide cost estimates, material specifications, and timeframes when required.

Skills & Experience

Degree or equivalent qualification in Architecture, Interior Architecture, or Interior Design.
5 – 10 years experience in bespoke furniture, joinery, or fitted interiors.
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, 2020 Design, Fusion 360, or similar design software.
Excellent technical drawing and rendering skills.
Ability to interpret and produce manufacturing-ready drawings.
Strong understanding of materials, fittings, and joinery construction methods.
Experience in residential or commercial interior planning is a plus.
Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
