Our client is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join their team.
You will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records, contributing to the overall financial health of the company.
Key Responsibilities
Process accounts payable and receivable in a timely and accurate manner.
Manage general ledger accounts, ensuring proper classification and recording of all financial transactions.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to accounting principles and best practices.
Assist with the preparation and filing of tax returns.
Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts.
Generate financial reports and analyze financial data to support informed decision-making.
Maintain a strong internal control system to safeguard financial assets.
Stay up-to-date on relevant tax regulations and accounting standards.
Payroll administration and compliance with statutory deductions and payments (e.g. PAYE, Pension Contribution, etc.).
Perform other accounting tasks as assigned.
Required Skills and Competencies
Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in accounting or a related field.
Professional accounting certification (ACA, ACCA, or ICAN) is a plus.
3-6 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
