About the Role

This is a full-time on site role for an account officer ,based in Calabar .
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Account Officer to join our Finance team.
The ideal candidate will manage financial records, prepare accurate financial statements, and support day-to-day accounting operations while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Maintain accurate financial records , analyze financial data ,and ensure compliance with the company financial policy
Collaborate with internal teams and contribute to financial planning and decision- making processes are also key responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain financial statements, including balance sheets, P&L statements, and cash flow reports , including preparing financial statements.
Reconcile accounts, track receivables and payables, and maintain the general ledger.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Assist with audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Analyze financial data and prepare management reports.
Coordinate with other departments for accurate transaction recording.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education: Minimum HND qualification or B.Sc. Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Experience: At least 3 years of practical experience in accounting, including preparing financial statements.
Professional certifications such as ICAN (ATSWA/ACA) or ANAN are a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, Tally, or similar).
Strong attention to detail, integrity, and organizational skills.
Excellent analytical skills to interpret financial data and resolve discrepancies effectively.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Must be good with excel and conversant with with accounting software

Salary
N150,000 – N200,000 monthly.
