Job Description
DSM-Firmenich Nigeria is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Account Manager, Taste to join our team in Lagos. In this pivotal role, you’ll drive B2B revenue growth by managing and expanding strategic accounts across the food, beverage, and flavor industries in West & Central Africa.
As the primary point of contact in the sales process, you’ll lead customer engagement, generate new business opportunities, and influence order creation—ensuring the achievement of key performance indicators while cultivating long-term, high-value relationships.

Your Key Responsibilities
Define account objectives, develop strategy and implement through an account plan, build a sales budget and monitor sales & profitability vs budget
Develop successful working relationships with existing & new clients to establish dsm-firmenich as their key partner to obtain briefs for profitable business
Lead proactive projects with clients and accurately brief creation and development teams
Define accurate pricing and margin parameters for projects, manage projects in systems, and drive towards best possible solution for dsm-firmenich & its clients
Share visit reports and client information and feedback with management as required
Oversee entire value chain – product life cycle management, demand planning, customer care and supply chain to ensure highest customer satisfaction
Requirements
Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent (Business Administration, Economics, Marketing or Science)
3-5 years of flavour sales experience
Excellent business acumen in the Flavour industry or similar and advanced sales & negotiation skills
Continuous improvement mindset and able to contribute to team success
Excellent English, both written and verbal; Good French is advantageous
Extensive travel in West Africa required.
