Clean, stock and supply designated facility areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc).
Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities.
Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects.
Notify Line Manager of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs.
Adjust minor repairs.
Stock and maintain supply rooms.
Cooperate with the rest of the staff.
Clean and disinfect restrooms and ensure that soap and paper dispensers are well-stocked.
Cleaning spills, broken glass and other messes up as quickly as possible.
Ordering new cleaning supplies as needed.
Person Specification
Capable of following instructions and learn new techniques.
Strong time management skills to ensure all work is completed by the end of shift.
Demonstrate an understanding of standard cleaning supplies and equipment.
Self-starter who takes the initiative to determine and complete necessary tasks, even with minimal supervision.
Positive attitude and ability to work as part ofa team.
Must be physically capable of performing 8 hours of physical work each day.
Possess a strong attention to detail.
Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent (WAEC, NECO, CCE).
At least 1-2 years of experience in janitorial or sanitation services, preferably in a corporate or media environment.
Experience working in a shift-based or 24/7 operational setting is highly desirable.
