Technical Advisor

POSITION SUMMARY

Provide organizational development, instructional design and training.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for developing and implementing training programs to support safeguards and security projects using a wide variety of technical, environmental, management and related activities.
  • Provide support subject matter expertise to Department of Energy (DOE)/National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA), Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA), and other U.S. government agencies as requested.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Security clearance
  • Required Education/Certifications:
  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a specific task
  • Pre-employment drug screening is conducted.
    • Preferred Skills/Experience:
    • 12 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

WORKING CONDITIONS 

  • May be required to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 10 lbs.
  • Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching and bending throughout the workday.
  • Travel Required
