Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in petrol and diesel trucks.
Carry out preventive maintenance and repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, and suspension systems.
Perform routine inspections and ensure vehicles meet safety standards.
Repair and replace faulty parts, including engines, gearboxes, clutches, and electrical systems.
Maintain accurate service and repair records.
Work with drivers and fleet managers to address vehicle issues promptly.
Ensure all repair work complies with manufacturer specifications and safety regulations.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Truck Mechanic (Petrol & Diesel).
Strong knowledge of truck engines, diagnostics, and repair techniques.
Ability to use mechanical and electronic diagnostic tools.
Relevant technical certification/training is an added advantage.
Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team
