Buhler Group in Lagos, Nigeria is looking for skilled and highly motivated engineer to join our West Africa team as Service Sales Engineer- Key accounts. This position would drive the growth of our strategic key account customers and act as the technical and commercial liaison, design service solutions, propose commercial offers and ensure post-sale success.

This is where you'll excel

Sell service products like spare parts, service level agreements, retrofits and plant audits to our key account customers.
Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge.
Establish, manage, and maintain current key accounts and potential key accounts relationships.
Prepare action plans and schedules to increase business activities in the assigned territory.
Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned.
Align and complement market activities together with existing key account managers in the assigned territory.
Identify, handle, and resolve customer complaints/concerns.
Communicate new product and service opportunities and special developments gathered through field activity to the Supervisor.
Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.
Ensure that client data in CRM is up to date.
Prepare presentations, proposals, quotations and generate sales leads for the equipment/plant business.

These are the skills you'll need

Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 7 years of working experience in Grains and Food processing industry, or similar.
Strong interest in technical sales, customer relationship management, and business development.
Ability to conduct sales conversations and contract negotiations.
Willingness to travel.
