Job Summary

We are seeking a smart and intelligent, pharmaceutically inclined sourcing officer to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the procurement function, including sourcing vendors, negotiating prices, and getting invoices from them.

Key Responsibilities

Source and evaluate vendors for medical equipment, drugs, and related pharmaceutical products.
Conduct price sourcing and comparative analysis to ensure cost-effective procurement.
Manage procurement processes in compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality of products.
Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and vendor contracts.
Collaborate with internal teams to forecast procurement needs and optimize inventory levels.

Required Criteria

A degree in Pharmacy, Pharmacology, Biomedical Engineering, or related health sciences from a recognized institution.
Proven experience in pharmaceutical procurement, vendor management, or supply chain within the healthcare sector is an added advantage
Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical products, medical equipment, and market pricing.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Familiarity with Good Pharmaceutical Practice (GPP) standards and procurement regulations in Nigeria.
