As a Logistics Associate, you will be expected to perform the following duties

Logistics Management

Coordinate and optimize logistics operations to ensure timely and accurate order deliveries.
Liaise with third-party logistics partners to maintain efficient delivery networks.
Monitor delivery performance, address challenges, and implement improvements.

Rider Recruitment

Develop and execute strategies for recruiting delivery riders to meet operational demands.
Collaborate with HR to conduct interviews, assess candidates, and facilitate the onboarding process.
Maintain a pool of qualified riders and ensure an adequate supply to meet business needs.

Training and Development

Design and conduct training programs for new and existing riders to enhance their skills and efficiency.
Provide ongoing support and guidance to riders to ensure a high level of service quality.

Performance Monitoring

Implement performance metrics to monitor the effectiveness of logistics operations.
Conduct regular assessments of rider performance and address any issues promptly.

Documentation and Reporting

Maintain accurate records of rider information, including contact details and performance data.
Generate reports on logistics and rider recruitment activities for management review.

Job Requirements

Minimum of 1 year of work experience in an Operations, Logistics or Supply Chain related role.
You must have completed studies at a University, Polytechnic or similar institution
You should be familiar with CRM, and comfortably use spreadsheets to collect, analyze & interpret data.
Effectively manage projects using project management techniques and tools
Be conversant with Logistics operations in such industries as Food and Beverage, FMCG, e-Commerce, Transportation, and others
Communicate effectively with different levels of stakeholders, and able to negotiate, too
Demonstrate results in improving business performance through leadership
Have a highly developed sense of urgency.
