About the Role

We are seeking an experienced FTTH Project Manager to lead and oversee large-scale fiber optic (FTTH) deployment projects across multiple locations in Nigeria.
The ideal candidate must have strong, hands-on experience managing MTN FTTH projects — either currently or previously — with a proven ability to deliver complex telecom infrastructure projects on time, within budget, and to the highest technical standards.
The successful candidate will be joining a leading infrastructure and technology solutions company that provides turnkey services in telecom engineering, fiber deployment, civil works, and energy systems.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, manage, and execute FTTH rollout projects end-to-end — including design validation, permitting, trenching, ducting, fiber blowing, splicing, and activation.
Lead project teams and contractors to ensure delivery timelines, quality, and safety standards are met.
Coordinate with client representatives (especially MTN and other telecom operators) to ensure smooth project execution and timely reporting.
Manage project budgets, materials, logistics, and manpower deployment effectively.
Oversee network documentation, as-built drawings, test reports, and quality assurance submissions.
Monitor project progress, resolve technical or operational challenges, and implement corrective actions promptly.
Ensure adherence to HSE and regulatory compliance requirements.
Prepare and submit regular project status reports to management and clients.

Requirements & Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Civil, or Telecommunications) or a related field.
Minimum of 7–10 years of experience in telecom fiber projects, with at least 3–5 years specifically managing MTN FTTH projects.
Demonstrable experience overseeing large-scale FTTH deployments (planning, design, implementation, and commissioning).
Strong leadership and project management skills with the ability to handle multiple site teams.
Proficiency in project tracking tools (MS Project, Primavera, or similar).
Excellent knowledge of FTTH technologies, standards, and best practices.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Professional certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) will be an added advantage.
