GLOBAL ORGANIZATION

Purpose
Performs magnetic particle inspection on pipe ends (SEA), identifying and marking rejected parts, in a safe and efficient manner according to applicable procedures, complying with defined quality standards.
Responsabilities
Commit with health, safety and environmental policies and notify situations that present potential risk.
Ensure product quality complying with defined standards and reporting deviations.
Carry out duties in an effective manner meeting productivity and efficiency standards in accordance with minimum costs.
Perform activities according to applicable procedures.
Complete and update all applicable records ensuring information accuracy.
Ensure proper use of the company assets, detecting and reporting malfunctioning.
Attend and collaborate in training activities in order to maintain and increase the company knowledge.
Proactively suggest improvements and participate in continuous improvement activities.
Maintain a clean and ordered workplace.
Abide by Tenaris discipline norms.
Perform activities understanding their consequences on the global process.
Main Activities:
Ensures instruments are in good condition checking their expiration date and correct functioning.
Executes magnetism set up.
Performs magnetic field verification.
Verifies the concentration of fluids.
Performs UM white Tight verification.
Carries out the identification and marking of rejected parts for subsequent cutting.
Performs quality reports of pipes notifying the defects found.
Carries out pipes repairs and reinspections.
Updates information in the tracking systems and records the obtained
Minimum Qualifications for the Job
High School Degree
Valid ISO 9712 certification
Past experience in NDT activities
