This role requires a strong leader with a proven track record in managing high-performing sales teams, building key customer relationships, and implementing performance-driven sales systems. The National Sales Manager will work closely with the executive team to align sales objectives with overall business goals, identify emerging market opportunities, and ensure consistent achievement of sales targets nationwide.

National Sales Manager Responsibilities include:

Sales Revenue Generation and Client Management:

Sales Revenue Generation and Client Management.
Source for new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up, outbound calls and e-mails.
Respond to new sales inquiries, understanding customer needs and requirements and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Sending effective online demos, videos, brochure, proposal, and cover letters to prospective customers.
Set sales targets and projections and ensures same targets are met.
Maintain and expand data base of customers/prospects.
Develop leads and seek opportunities to present additional products to existing customers.
Support the activities of external/outdoor sales team.
Report and liaise directly with the BDM on market expectations and survey.
Demonstrate excellent customer service professional attitude towards customers at all times.
Converting prospects to active customers and ensuring a smooth sales transaction.
Follow up with customers on product feedback and maintain good business relationship.
100% extensive product knowledge.
Keeping records of customer interactions, transactions, comments, complaints, and client’s data base management.
Communicating and coordinating with colleagues (Stores, Quality Assurance/Control, and Accounts Units) as necessary to ensure quality and accountability.
Monitoring new market trend.
Processing orders, forms, requests for products and ensuring timely delivery of products.
Report directly to the BDM on daily, weekly and monthly through sales reports.
Actively and constantly seek for new customers within AFRI medical focus market.
Achieve key metrics (customers visit per week, prospect visits per week prospects converted.
Manage key customers accounts, establishes long term and ongoing relationships with customers.
And any other task assigned by Management

Core Qualifications/Skills/Competencies:

Only candidates with a bachelor's degree/HND in social sciences or any related Discipline.
A minimum of 10+ years of work experience in the Medical Equipment Manufacturing Industry as a National or Country Sales Manager.
Relevant postgraduate and or professional qualification would be an added advantage.
Proficiency in ERP application.
Candidate must have experience in selling medical consumer products such as; Syringes, medical gloves etc.
Candidates should have proper territorial knowledge of the region.
Candidates should be willing to travel.
