Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our client’s team in Ajaokuta.
The ideal candidate will oversee financial operations, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, support decision-making with accurate reporting, and drive efficiency through digitization and streamlined processes.
Responsibilities
Manage financial accounting, reporting, and analysis functions.
Oversee collection and payment processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Conduct financial analysis to support budgeting and expense management.
Engage with auditors to resolve audit queries across all functions.
Ensure compliance with local finance laws, tax regulations, and company policies.
Drive productivity through process automation and digitization.
Implement and monitor Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Prepare schedules and generate timely weekly/monthly reports for management.
Collaborate with group offices or other functions as required.
Requirements
Professional qualification: ICAN (mandatory).
Minimum of 7 years’ experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
Strong knowledge of ERP accounting systems (Orion is an advantage).
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience in the building materials, cement, ceramics, or glass manufacturing sector preferred.
Strong team management and leadership skills.
