Operate and monitor the drilling rig’s draw-works, rotary, top drive, mud pumps, and associated drilling equipment.
Execute drilling, tripping, casing, cementing, and completion operations as per drilling program.
Ensure correct application of drilling parameters (weight on bit, rotary speed, mud circulation, etc.).
Supervise the rig floor crew and assign tasks for efficient operations.
Conduct pre-job equipment checks and ensures rig systems are fully functional.

Requirements

Minimum of HND / B.Sc. in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent industry experience).
Minimum of 8 years of rig experience, with at least 3 – 5 years as an Assistant Driller or Driller.
Valid IWCF / IADC Well Control Certificate (Driller Level) – mandatory.
Offshore Survival Certification (BOSIET / FOET).
HSE training and certification (e.g., NEBOSH/OSHA or equivalent) preferred.
Strong knowledge of drilling practices, well control, and rig equipment operation.
Familiarity with mud systems, casing programs, cementing, and completion techniques.
Ability to interpret drilling programs, well schematics, and technical drawings.
