This role involves managing inventory, keeping accurate records, conducting physical stock counts, maintaining a tidy and safe store environment, and coordinating with suppliers and construction teams.
Key duties include inspecting incoming goods against purchase orders, processing requisitions, and preparing documentation for deliveries and dispatches.

Key Responsibilities

Receive and inspect all incoming materials, verifying their quantity and quality against purchase orders.
Maintain accurate, detailed inventory records, manage stock levels, and conduct regular physical stock checks to reconcile physical quantities with recorded balances.
Store materials in appropriate, designated locations, ensuring they are organized and the store area is clean and safe.
Issue materials to construction crews and other authorized users, ensuring they only receive the required quantities against authorized requisitions or material lists.
Process, distribute, and maintain all required documentation, including purchase orders, requisitions, delivery notes, and dispatch registers.
Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve any discrepancies
Adhere to all health and safety regulations and established warehouse procedures.

Requirements

OND, HND, B.Sc. in a relevant field of study with 2-5 years of experience as a store keeper
Ability to use excel and great numerical skills
Good interpersonal and communication skills
The ability to lift and move heavy construction materials is often required.
