The Site Engineer will be responsible for supervising on-site activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety standards, and providing technical guidance to workers and subcontractors.

Responsibilities:

Work closely with site supervisors, architects, surveyors, and other trades to resolve issues and deliver projects on time and within budget.
Oversee and supervise all construction site activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and project specifications.
Manage construction workers, subcontractors, and vendors on-site, ensuring tasks are completed according to schedule and within budget.
Monitor project progress, optimize resource allocation, and ensure delivery within budget and timeline constraints
Coordinate the daily work schedule, ensuring that materials, equipment, and labor are available as needed.
Inspect work and ensure quality standards are met.
Monitor the progress of the project to ensure work is completed on time and to the specified quality standards.
Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with all regulations and company safety policies.
Conduct regular safety meetings and safety audits.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of daily site activities, including work completed
Identify and resolve technical challenges during construction, providing effective solutions and professional guidance.
Promote a culture of safety by enforcing HSE regulations, identifying potential hazards, and ensuring a safe working environment.
Maintain effective communication with clients, contractors, architects, and consultants, fostering collaboration and teamwork.

Requirements and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Building/ Construction Technology, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, methods, materials, and safety standards.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in construction, ideally with hands-on experience in managing the construction phases of projects.
Knowledge of construction management software is a plus.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively manage on-site teams and collaborate with stakeholders.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously, with strong attention to detail.
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve construction challenges quickly and effectively.
Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable to changing project requirements.
Strong commitment to maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
