As an Office Sales Representative at USChip Laptops Ltd, you will be the face of our store, engaging customers, showcasing our range of laptops and accessories, and closing sales. You’ll work in our Ajah office, assisting clients with their tech needs, maintaining product displays, and contributing to a welcoming store environment. This role is perfect for an enthusiastic individual passionate about technology and sales.

Key Responsibilities

Greet and assist customers, understanding their needs and recommending suitable laptops and accessories.
Demonstrate product features, explaining technical specs (e.g., RAM, processors, storage) in a clear, customer-friendly manner.
Close sales effectively, meeting or exceeding monthly sales targets.
Maintain an organized and appealing product display in the store.
Process transactions, handle cash and POS systems, and ensure accurate pricing.
Provide after-sales support, addressing customer inquiries or concerns.
Stay updated on laptop brands (e.g., HP, Dell, Lenovo, Apple) and industry trends.
Collaborate with the team to manage inventory and restock accessories like chargers and keyboards.

Necessary Skills and Qualifications

Sales Skills: Proven ability to engage customers, upsell products, and close deals effectively.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal skills in English; proficiency in Yoruba or other local languages is a plus for connecting with Ajah’s diverse clientele.
Tech Knowledge: Basic understanding of laptop specifications (e.g., processors, RAM, SSD vs. HDD) and ability to explain them to non-technical customers.
Customer Service: Friendly, approachable demeanor with a focus on building customer trust and loyalty.
Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build rapport with clients and work collaboratively with colleagues.
Adaptability: Willingness to learn about new products and adapt to a fast-paced retail environment.
Basic Computer Literacy: Familiarity with POS systems and basic inventory management tools.
Education/Experience: Minimum of HND; 1-2 years of retail sales experience, preferably in electronics or tech, is an advantage but not mandatory.
