We specialize in industries such as banking and non-banking financial institutions, pharmaceuticals, fast-moving consumer goods, manufacturing, fintechs, telecommunications, and retail.Role Overview

Drive sales of the company’s chemical product portfolio (industrial chemicals, water-treatment reagents, adhesives, solvents, surfactants, coatings raw materials, etc.) to industrial customers, distributors and trade channels across Nigeria.
You will build relationships, close deals, support technical commercial proposals, ensure order fulfilment, and represent the company during technical & commercial meetings. Strong salesmanship, product knowledge and HSE awareness are essential.

Key Responsibilities
Sales & Revenue Generation:

Develop and close sales opportunities across assigned territories and industry segments (manufacturing, paints & coatings, water treatment,textile, etc.).
Achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets (revenue and margin).
Generate new business via direct prospecting, cold calling, site visits, trade events, referrals and distributor networks.
Manage and grow relationships with key accounts, distributors, wholesalers and OEM customers.

Customer Management & After-Sales:

Conduct technical & commercial presentations and product demos.
Prepare and issue quotations, commercial proposals and follow up to closure.
Coordinate order processing, delivery schedules and ensure on-time fulfilment with operations/warehouse.
Resolve customer complaints, returns or quality issues quickly and escalate to QA/Production when required.
Ensure strong credit control: monitor outstanding invoices, follow up payment as per company credit terms and liaise with Finance.

Technical & Regulatory Support:

Maintain solid working knowledge of product specifications,recommended handling & storage requirements.
Work with HSE / QA teams to ensure clients are provided correct handling instructions and documentation.
Support product registration and compliance activities where required (e.g., standards, labelling, packaging).
Provide market feedback to Product/Operations on product improvements, packaging, or formulation needs.

Channel & Territory Management:

Manage and expand distributor/stockist networks; develop incentive plans, sales targets and performance reviews for partners.
Implement territory plans, route plans and account call targets.
Use CRM to log activities, opportunities, quotations and pipeline updates.

Reporting & Administration:

Submit weekly sales activity reports, monthly forecasts and customer visit reports.
Maintain accurate customer records in CRM and update product pricing files.
Support periodic market research and competitor pricing intelligence.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, Business Administration or related field.
3–6 years’ proven B2B sales experience within chemicals, industrial raw materials, or related fast-moving industrial supplies.
Experience working with distributors/dealers and managing trade accounts.
Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills and track record of meeting targets.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel domestically.

Technical Knowledge & Tools:

Comfortable explaining technical product details.
Experience using CRM software (Salesforce, Zoho, HubSpot or similar), MS Excel & PowerPoint.
