Summary

The Museum of West African Art (MOWAA) is seeking a skilled ELV Technician (Extra-Low Voltage) to join our Facilities Management team.
This roles are critical to ensuring reliable power, security, and technology systems that support our world-class museum facility, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain ELV systems: CCTV, access control, fire alarms, PA/voice evacuation, and structured cabling.
Support exhibitions with AV/multimedia setups.
Troubleshoot faults and perform preventive maintenance with minimal downtime.
Monitor and record power meter readings to track energy usage, detect abnormalities, and support efficient power management.
Monitor systems via BMS/control room and ensure compliance with safety/security standards.

Requirements

SSCE/OND/HND/BSc in Electrical/Electronics, Telecommunications, or related field.
2–5 years’ hands-on experience with ELV systems in critical facilities.
Knowledge of CCTV, access control, fire alarms, networking basics, and cabling.
System certifications (Honeywell, Bosch, Siemens, etc.) are an advantage.
